point * point’s original and eclectic artistic style communicates in metaphors of both fashion and whimsical imagery. She is greatly influenced by her extensive background and studies in fashion and textile design in Japan, and also by her move to Paris, France, where she became enamored with children’s books.

“My work is painted with a number of coats of papers making use of a Japanese paper mosaic technique. I compose my pictures much like weaving with papers, clothes or antique objects. Using these techniques allows full expression of my art.”
